Spotlight EAP: Introducing earth-i

SatVu has launched the world's first commercially available high resolution infrared imaging satellite.

Delivering a first-to-market, space-based solution to enable governments and commercial organisations to tackle the environmental impact of modern life through the use of high-resolution infrared data.

Ahead of the launch, 96 organisations committed to harnessing the unique power of infrared tasking imagery by signing up to our Early Access Programme. As early adopters, these organisations enjoyed preferred access to our high-resolution imagery.

Our Spotlight EAP Case Study series showcases these businesses and the innovative products and services they offer.

In this case study we learn about earth-i, a Geospatial Analytics and Intelligence company based at Surrey Research Park, UK. Founded by Richard Blain in 2015.

Introducing earth-i

earth-i is a leading remote sensing data analytics business helping companies and governments make better decisions by providing them with low-cost geospatial insight on a global scale.

earth-i offers a range of services; from data sales and consultancy to special projects and sophisticated information services that are easy for non-technologists to understand and use.

By reducing the complexity and cost barriers to earth observation, earth-i supports a radical improvement in decision-making for organisations around the world.

Joining SatVu’s EAP

Having already completed an in-depth analysis of SatVu’s archive imagery, earth-i plans to use the data provided by HotSat to provide deeper, more accurate industrial activity readings and production data for the commercial and defence projects they undertake.

Long-term, data from SatVu’s HotSat constellation will allow earth-I to increase the accuracy of their existing products, whilst adding new metals and chemical supply chains to the SAVANT data analytics portfolio.

Climate Talk

The HotSat constellation will provide unbiased quantitative data to independently validate industrial activity within global supply chains and highlight where improvements can be made for the benefit of our climate and environment.
