Rivers of Data
Thermal water pollution is the degradation of water quality due to a change in ambient water temperature. To date, monitoring thermal water pollution at a local level has been limited to drone or aerial surveys. Until now, thermal imaging from space has been too coarse, with resolutions greater than 100m. However, Satellite Vu will launch a constellation of thermal imaging satellites, imaging with a resolution of 3.5m.
