Industrial Monitoring
Satellite Vu's thermal imagery can uncover previously unseen details about inner workings of factories and power plants. The high resolution, high revisit rate and the ability to see thermal activity, both day and night, enables Satellite Vu’s technology to shed new light on rates of industrial activity around the globe, in near real time as well as monitoring refinery operations.
Lockheed Martin invest in Satellite Vu to bring its world-first climate change technology to the US
American investors Lockheed Martin and In-Q-Tel have spotted the potential of a British aerospace company producing the world’s first highest resolution infrared data sets available from space.

Rivers of Data
Thermal water pollution is the degradation of water quality due to a change in ambient water temperature. To date, monitoring thermal water pollution at a local level has been limited to drone or aerial surveys. Until now, thermal imaging from space has been too coarse, with resolutions greater than 100m. However, Satellite Vu will launch a constellation of thermal imaging satellites, imaging with a resolution of 3.5m.
